....And breathe! Happy Friday! Time to party like a prawn star (i.e. whack on a shrimpy outfit, wiggle your pink butt and shove your face in a cocktail 🦐🦐🦐). . . Speaking of shrimpy outfits, I spent most of today giving my office a good tidy up because the mess was doing my head in. As well as chucking out about fifty dry pens and finding the five pack of sellotape I couldn't find at Christmas, I came across a 2nd Generation iPhone and an old album of photos from my second year at Swansea UNI, including this classic of my husband and I before we got together. He dressed up as a whoopie cushion for Halloween and I dressed up as a... no idea. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ . . Mate, I totally need a prawn-patterned shirt.
"Smoooooth, just like the silk - soft and cuddly hug me up like a quilt..." (Where my 90s kids at?) Throwback to Sunday brunch and this silky, sweet, scoffable lil' Smoothie Bowl from @ginandjuicecardiff. Lush! 🥝🥝🥝 . Mate, I'm having one of those mad weeks where I've already got a full plate in front of me and yet I keep on saying "yes" to second, third and fourth helpings. I've always had eyes bigger than my stomach - not just when it comes to food, but to everything else - and sometimes I forget that it's okay to say "no" to things. Yesterday I was in such a flap trying to keep up that I went out without my purse and got stranded in a car park because I couldn't pay to get out! I'm taking that as a sign that I need to take it easy for a while. So tonight I'm going to curl up on the sofa under a blanket with @bunglethegolden (Seriously, how is it winter again?) and catch up with The Handmaid's Tale and break into that Terry's Chocolate Orange I've been saving in case of an emergency. Blessed be the (chocolate) fruit.
Fresh week, fresh sheets... same dog deciding to park his butt on the bed while I'm in the middle of changing them. Glad you're comfy, mate. 😫
#AD 🌻 Posting this from a doorway on Queen Street while there's thunder grumbling overhead and rain is threatening to ruin my brand new shoes. What happened to the beautiful weather from yesterday? Take me back to the Maes-y-Coed Community Centre garden and all the beautiful flowers! . Big love to all the @marksandspencer employees up and down the country who have been working hard on community projects all week! #marksinaction #volunteersweek
So corny. 🌽🌽🌽 . . Little throwback on this drizzly Friday to Florida - to those stretching blue skies, crazy humidity and the fruit and veg market in Immokalee where there was this guy selling roasted corn on the cob smothered in paprika and cheese. Take me back!
