Nine

59: Slow Sunday morning breakfast; grilled banana and maple bacon.  Mmmmm 🙂
60: I made pizza with chorizo, mushrooms, peppers and spring onions.
61: Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus!  (Happy St David’s Day!)  The weather was typically Welsh (i.e. drizzly!) so I celebrated quietly at home by baking Bara Brith that my Mamgu would be hella proud of, and enjoying a cuppa from my new Welsh Girl Problems mug (thanks again Cerys!) 🙂
62: I met up with Sunny for lunch and we checked out Base + Barley which recently opened up at the bottom end of Queen Street.  Their lunch menu is perfect; one of their lunch-sized sourdough pizzas (I had No.3 – Mushroom and Prosciutto) and a lovely salad bowl all for under ÂŁ6 🙂
63: I bought these change of address cards ages ago but decided not to fill them out until we were closer to completion on the new house – I didn’t want to jinx anything, y’know? (if you read yesterday’s post about the stresses of and lessons learned when selling and buying houses then you know what I’m taking about!) Anyway, the day before completion, I finally decided it was ‘safe’ to fill them out.
64: We finally got the keys to the new house! Yay!  We celebrated by drinking Prosecco (and orange juice) and eating pizza on deck chairs since we haven’t moved in officially yet 🙂
65: We bought a massive trunk from the treasure-trove that is Homesense (Hands-down one of my favourite shops!  Stock seems to ship in and out of that place so quickly that you never know what you’re going to find…).  I think we’re going do the Scandi/Hipster thing and use it as a side table in our new lounge 🙂
