I’m a green banana kind of person. I’ll only eat bananas when they’ve just turned yellow, and if I see a single black freckle then you can forget it. Bananas go so quickly as well that they can change from perfect to pass in the space of an hour. But I never throw the speckled sort – they’re not useless, they just need to go into some sort cake before I’ll eat them. 🙂
I used this recipe, but fiddled around with it a bit – adding double the amount of spice and a handful of raisins. I also drizzled some chocolate on top.

I can’t touch them when they’re spotty – but leaving them that bit longer is a great excuse to bake something 🙂
