Cardiff “BAE”

Cardiff's

I officially feel well old when I get to say that I remember what Cardiff Bay used to look like before the barrage (Does anyone remember the giant sausage/squished loo roll which displayed all the Bay regeneration plans? No…? Just me? *sigh*). Nowadays – minus the mud flats, and with a lil’ help from a massive, shining armadillo and the return of a certain time lord – it’s easily Cardiff’s “BAE” (Before Anything Else – ha! See what I did there?) when it comes to where to go on a sunny weekend. 🙂

We parked up in Penarth Heights and walked down past the Custom House and across the Barrage. It was cold and windy, but beautiful.
