Our Christmas Decorations

I couldn’t wait to put our Christmas Decorations up this year.  It’s been a couple of years since we last saw them because last Christmas they were all in storage while we crashed at my Mum and Dad’s.  It was so nice to see them again, and in our new home – where we’ve got a little extra space to enjoy them.

Our tree ornaments have been collected over the years from all the places Sunny and I have visited together.  Whenever we go somewhere new we always try and come back with something to put on the tree and so we’ve got decorations from Iceland, Paris, Denmark, Greece, Prague…  Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes you have to be a little inventive about it – like this year, we brought a wooden banana key-chain back from Madeira and turned it into a decoration.  It’s our own little Christmas tradition, and it’s nice to getting the decorations out every year and reminiscing about all the places we’ve been together.   🙂

Sunny’s family are arriving today so Christmas has officially begun in our house – I can’t wait to eat all the food and binge on all the Christmas films (with my hand firmly planted in a tin of Roses).  Nadolig Llawen, everyone!  Merry Christmas!  See you on the other side 😉
