London Snapshots

London and I?  I guess you’d call our relationship difficult.  And although I can say with 100% that I don’t miss living and working there, I still get all bright eyed and excited when I see the smoggy bricks and rising glass of the city.  There’s nowhere quite like London, but I do get fed up of how busy and expensive it is after a few days – I guess we’re better off as friends!

Sunny’s parents live in South East London so we go back when we can to visit – like we did a couple of weeks ago when Sunny’s Mum turned 60.  I flew from Cardiff Airport to London and we had a lovely week chilling out with them and visiting our favourite spots 🙂

Sunny worshiped at the home altar i.e. watched Charlton Athletic lose 😦 He’s been going to the Valley with his Dad since he was a kid and its a shame what’s happening to the team.  There were protests against the management while we were there.

I made a trip into central London and stumbled across the pinkest and prettiest bakery near Victoria Coach Station.

I wandered around Regent Street and Soho.  There are only three shops that I miss living in Cardiff; Forever 21 (so cheap!), & Other Stories (for the jewellery and soaps!) and Anthropologie (for the gorgeous homeware).

And, we celebrated Sunny’s Mum’s 60th with an Indian Feast!
