What I Wore: Votes For Women

If you’re wondering what I’m looking at, I’m cringing at the great big dustbin truck headed my way and the bin men inside who’ve just clocked what I’m up to.  They gave me a thumbs up in the end as they passed, so it’s all good.  Anywho, this is a bit different to normal programming, innit?  Up until now I’ve only really dipped my toes into fashion blogging, even though the truth is I’m huge fan.  I’ve fancied doing some outfit posts for a while and one very breezy August afternoon I plucked up the courage to take my camera to secluded spot in Cardiff and take some pictures.  (…Well, Google Maps made me think that it was secluded but it actually ended up being really busy!  White van men, bin men, old ladies, cuddly toy… you name it, it ended up walking past me.)

Votes for Women T Shirt, Literary Emporium | Spotty Trousers, Marks and Spencers (similar here) | Shoes Office (similar here) | Bag, T K Maxx (similar here)

These wide leg trousers have to be my biggest bargain of the summer sales, if not EVER.  I’d never have picked them out normally, but they were £5 in the Marks and Spencer’s sale.  I tried them on and totally fell in love with them.  They’re so comfy and could be worn up with a camisole and heels, or worn down with a t shirt.  And with polka dots a firm fave for the new season I’ll be wearing them all winter. 🙂

The animal print bag was a cheapo find in T K Maxx (God, I love that shop!) and can be worn as a clutch or with the added strap.  I’m not normally into animal prints but I thought this would be a fun Autumn/Winter bag to brighten up all the black and grey I’ll probably be wearing.

Have a great week everyone!
